PARENT NEWS 5/26/2011

Primary - Midget please be their no later than 7:00 a.m. or you risk paying for your child's band

Youth - Young please be their no later than 1:00 o.m. or you risk paying for your child's band (except if your child is in a field event they will need to be their at 7:00 a.m.)

If anyone has any uniforms that their child can't fit please wash and bring them Saturday morning

The week of May 9th, we will start 4 day practices Mon - Fri

Attach is the track meet for this Saturday

We are running the Stealth Track Meet at Trinity Christian School (1313 Pleasant Run Road, Cedar Hill)

Things that you will need for Saturday:

Cooler (with wheels preferrably) - please have plenty to drink (water/gatorade), fruits (definitely orange slices), pretzels, etc.

Weather protection/Sit items - Umbrella (in case it rains), sunblock for your child and you, tent if you decide not to sit in grass area, and chair (if you choose to sit in stadium you may need to bring a stadium seat if you have a bad back)

We will only pay entrance fees for parent's who have made some type of payment (this includes uniform payments):
Primary - Midget (1999 - 2003 +) run the morning session please be at the field by 8:00 a.m. if you come later than that you risk your child not getting an armband to enter

Youth - Young (1993 - 1998) run the afternoon session please be at the field by 1:30 p.m. if you come later than that you risk your child not getting an armband to enter.

If your child wears a a size less than a 1 (kids) and you have not been able to find any track shoes they may run in regular running shoes or the swimming shoes found at Wal-Mart.

The week of May 1st we will practice Wednesday (May 4th) and Thursday (May 5th)
We will start 4 day practices May 9th

Our first track meet this Saturday April 30, 2011 it is located at Lancaster High School Track on Lancaster Road.

Things that you will need for Saturday:

Cooler (with wheels preferably) - please have plenty to drink (water/Gatorade), fruits (definitely orange slices), pretzels, etc.

What will my child run?
The Coach knows what your child is running. They will let you know what they are running tonight.

1. Additional uniform orders Tuesday April 12, 2011 for anyone who did not get a chance to order - please review sizing chart and have your child's size at the time of order.

2. It is not too late for anyone to sign up for track season.

3. Please make sure you keep your children and yourself hydrated - I would start today drinking water (you may purchase propel drink mixes to put in water if you are not a water drinker) - The body is 70% water.........Recommended at least 8 glasses a day

4. Start now minimizing sugar intake for your children

5. Make sure they eat a "light" snack before track practice - nothing heavy

6. Purchase a cooler with wheels if you don't have one - you are going to need
it

1. Uniforms order will be taken that day for anybody who did not get a chance to meet up with me - you must have $80.00 payment at that time for uniforms.
